YES! She absolutely does! The ATL Wedding Officiant believes that all adults, regardless of sexual orientation or identity deserve to marry the partner of their dreams on their own terms. LGBTQIA+ couples will receive complete support and absolutely no judgement here.
Yes, she does attend rehearsals and highly recommends them. A rehearsal is more than just practicing the processional and learning where to stand. It gives everyone a chance to meet and get to know each other, and become familiar with the environment so that everyone is relaxed on the wedding day. Most importantly, a rehearsal provides the couple with the opportunity to become familiar with the flow and all the elements of the ceremony so that they can be more relaxed to focus on each other, rather than worrying about what comes next. Because not all couples want a rehearsal, the Officiant fee does not include rehearsal attendance. Rehearsal fees begin at $100.
She officiated her first wedding in March 2019 and fell in love with it! Since then, she has officiated more than 350 weddings throughout Metro Atlanta, North Georgia and Upstate South Carolina.
No, she does not require premarital counseling, nor does she provide it. That is out of her scope as an Officiant. Because she is not a licensed marriage counselor, she is not qualified in that field but happily refers her clients to a counseling resource if requested.
The ATL Wedding Officiant requires a non-refundable retainer to secure your wedding date. In the event of cancellation, Officiant Fees will be refunded according to the Refund Schedule in your contract. The ATL Wedding Officiant understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and she will work with you to reschedule your ceremony for a future date.
