Time: Twenty-minute appointments scheduled from 11AM-2PM. 

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!

Location: The Athens-Clarke County Courthouse Steps,

325 E. Washington Street, Athens, GA 30601

Fee: $99 payable in full at the time of booking via Debit or Credit Card. Nonrefundable.

Documentation Required: Your Georgia Marriage License and Photo ID.

NOTE: COUPLES ONLY & your photographer, if desired.

Your Valentine's Day Elopement Package Includes:

• A 15-20 minute phone consultation,
• Your choice of a simple civil or nondenominational ceremony, with or without ring exchange (your choice),
• A keepsake wedding ceremony booklet, and
• Submission of the signed marriage license to the county court for recording. 

The state of Georgia has specific residency requirements for marrying in the state. 

• Anyone who has been a resident of the state of Georgia for at least one year may obtain their marriage license in any Georgia county and marry in any Georgia county. You do not have to marry in the county where the license was obtained. 
• Non-residents must obtain their marriage license in the county where the ceremony will take place. For this Valentine's Day Elopement, that would be the Athens-Clarke County Probate Court.

Once again, this package is for THE COUPLE ONLY! One photographer may be present. No guests will be permitted. If guests are present, or you do not arrive for your appointment, the ceremony will not take place on February 14, 2026. The elopement ceremony will be rescheduled for a later date at the fee published under "Pricing" on this website. If you would like a ceremony that includes guests, please schedule a micro-wedding or full wedding ceremony.

Your scheduled time slot has been reserved just for you! Please be early, so that you are not late. Other couples also have Valentine's Day elopements scheduled. Should you arrive late, the officiant reserves the right to fit your ceremony into the schedule as time permits so that the couples who are on time do not wait.
